My life is one hell of a bumpy ride. I feel I will never be able to tell my story completely. For every version I decide to tell, after my long rant, I often realise that some parts of the story are missing.

• Got missing at the age of 6
• Diagnosed with dyslexia at the age of 10
• Had a heart problem at 14
• Diagnosed with ADHD at 16
• Expelled from NDA at 18
• Moved from my father’s house to live in a church in Lagos at 23

The universe was against me, but God was always with me.

I’m a lucky boy. I am lucky to be alive, and I am lucky to update this article every year with new lessons I have learned in the calendar year.

These life lessons are not rules; they are things I believe are important to me, and they are in no way advice for you to follow.

1. A man is only as good as his words
2. You are in charge of your happiness.

23. Experience the serenity of traveling alone.
24. Never be afraid to ask out the best-looking girl in the room.
